Imposed identities in music: the countertenor – conference, duration 1h
Soprano and musicologist Agnes Sipos explores the history and characteristics of one of the most distinctive vocal styles in opera: the countertenor, a male singer with a female vocal range. This event serves as an introduction to the recital by countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, taking place on 7th June at Teatro Alla Scala in Milan, as part of the Alla Scala con dAS project.
